When you have a goal that you want to reach, whether it be from losing weight to buying a house or a new car, you will attain what you want when you live out your goal and make it a part of your everyday life. You want to make it come true...
A great way to do this is to cut out a picture of of the car you want and post it places where you spend most of your time. Make it real, make it believable, make it become possible for you to get what you want and reach your goal. See yourself making the necessary changes to get that car, visualize it, feel it out, price it out.
It works the same way for losing weight, if you have a certain amount of weight you want to lose, write the amount of weight you desire to lose or write down your ideal weight. Then post pictures of someone at this ideal weight, or if you have been at this weight before, print out pictures of yourself at this weight and post them up around your house, in your car, on your refrigerator.
Live your goal and seek it out! EXPERIENCE SUCCESS!!! Live, act, feel, and believe :)

Self Limiting Beliefs...
I was recently talking to some of my family members about how they doubt themselves, which inadvertently puts them in negative frames of mind, and can result in the loss of jobs, denial, depression, etc.
In this blog post, which is going to be different than many of my other posts, I am going to be addressing, in my opinion, as to why we have self limiting beliefs, and how to get over them.
You see, it is very easy for people to form negative attitudes about a goal that they have in their lives. These negative attitudes can come from change, doubt, other people, and can lead to failure, brought on by the person harboring these negative beliefs.
In stead of taking on a task that may be a challenge, we may tend to stray away from that challenge and harbor doubt in our mind that we can do it. For example, when it comes to weight loss, it is easy to develop an attitude and frame of mind that says "I have tried to lose weight before, and I failed, so why would this time be any different?" This will hinder our performance to obtaining and attaining our goal.
SO! How do we stray from these self limiting beliefs, how do we keep ourselves fresh and able to accomplish new things? It is very easy, we do this by developing the RIGHT MENTAL ATTITUDE about out goal or the completion of our goal. We use positive self talk such as "I am doing this" and we start to think, act, and feel like the successful person that we want to become! Develop the right mental attitude and realize that you can do ANYTHING that you set your mind to as long as it is in the realm of human possibility. Failure is sometimes part of our journey, but use it as a lesson. Learn from it, and move on to new and better things.

Rising to the top
I feel the need to share this...
In every show, there are always a few volunteers who get hypnotized who really rise to the top. The other night was no exception. All of these people were great volunteers...
They all helped make the show. However, there was one girl in particular who ROSE TO THE TOP and everyone was coming up after the show and RAVING about her!
I ended this particular show telling all of the volunteers that they were Britney Spears and would dance and sing accordingly. Well, this girl REALLY had her Britney Spears down pat. She really got into it and sang into the microphone and danced around the stage. She got a standing ovation. Thank you for being such a GREAT volunteer! That leaves me with one question... What surprise will tonight's show bring...?

Lot's and Lot's of shows coming up
Hello Everyone!
It's been a busy 4 weeks! As some of you may know and even seen, I performed at the great Spencer Fair for their 141st year. It is the largest and longest running fair in Central MA. About 2,000 to 3,000 people came out for each show. It was my second year in a row there performing 3 shows throughout the weekend. Next year they want me to do my ESP show as well, which I think will go over great!. Here is a photo from one of the nights at the fair...
All these people are hypnotized.
I have been working very diligently the past few weeks getting to 40 DVD'S of the show shipped and also booking nearly 20 shows all over New England from Maine to New Jersey. I will post some dates and places up soon. Until then, thank you everyone from the shows I have been doing lately for all your support, without you guys, I would have no show!
Hypnotically Yours,
Dan

On A Role!
Hello Hypno Junkies!
Have you ever been so motivated to do something that you won't let anything stand in your way? It is a great feeling to have and when you realize that you have the ability to do anything you put your mind to, it's like someone lit a rocket under your butt!
This has been happening the past week or so. I realized that I really need to start planning things out for the long term. Short-term is good, but that's exactly what it is, short-term, a quick fix. So I mapped out a small plan of what I wanted to do this year and what I where I wanted to go. So I started planning out a tour which will start in MA and go through New Jersey and down to PA and back up to MA. It will be for about two weeks, something small and manageable right now as I found that doing this does require a lot of planning.
I am also planning on performing on a Mediterranean Cruise Line. I would be a headliner on the ship and getting my name out there so I can become international and not be bound to one place.
I also, however, have A LOT of shows coming up in the New England area soon (MA, NH, VT, etc) and I was afraid that I wouldn't have enough time to do a cruise or a tour, but all that aside, I decided to just plan on it anyway and I can always get someone to fill in on my land bookings while I am gone.
I will keep everyone posted on what goes on!

10 years and going strong
Hello everyone!
I just finished reading some pretty interesting literature online about the negative connotations and the stigma that younger hypnotists get in this field. It was said that many younger hypnotists are not experienced, not qualified, and do not provide what they say they will provide. Whereas this may be the case for some, I want to set the record straight. Yes I am 22 years old, yes I do claim to have 10 years of experience, and yes I am serious when I say that. For me to have 10 years of experience, it means I had to start performing when I was 12 years old. That is also true, I was recognized by certified instructors of the National Guild of Hypnotists when I was 14 for being the world's youngest trained professional hypnotist. I had to take classes and hypnotize several people in order to graduate from the class, and not only that, but I had to also take a final examination. Out of 22 people in that class (all of whom was over 40 years of age) both myself and one other person were the only two people in the class to receive PERFECT SCORES on the examination.
Now, some may be wondering why I am writing this. My reasoning is this: Being young does have its advantages and disadvantages, BUT it does not make me inexperienced or naive about something that I take pride in and am passionate about. I have well over 1,800 shows under my belt and I believe that being younger helps me connect with my target audience much better.
I do not claim to know everything, in fact, I still have a lot that I want to learn. But I leave you with this wisdom... if you are passionate about something, then pursue it, as long as it is will not harm you or anyone else. Approach everything with good intention. When you work hard at something and succeed, you will have great feelings of self accomplishment and growth.
I did not mean for this post to be "all about me" but I did mean for it to act as a word of wisdom to those out there who may think that younger people have lack of knowledge or lack of experience. Now that I have graduated from college recently I have more time to dedicate to my performance career and also to doing things like updating my blogs regularly. So thank you to everyone who has believed in me and who supported me throughout all of my travels, trials, and tribulations!
