Hello Hypno Junkies!
Have you ever been so motivated to do something that you won't let anything stand in your way? It is a great feeling to have and when you realize that you have the ability to do anything you put your mind to, it's like someone lit a rocket under your butt!
This has been happening the past week or so. I realized that I really need to start planning things out for the long term. Short-term is good, but that's exactly what it is, short-term, a quick fix. So I mapped out a small plan of what I wanted to do this year and what I where I wanted to go. So I started planning out a tour which will start in MA and go through New Jersey and down to PA and back up to MA. It will be for about two weeks, something small and manageable right now as I found that doing this does require a lot of planning.
I am also planning on performing on a Mediterranean Cruise Line. I would be a headliner on the ship and getting my name out there so I can become international and not be bound to one place.
I also, however, have A LOT of shows coming up in the New England area soon (MA, NH, VT, etc) and I was afraid that I wouldn't have enough time to do a cruise or a tour, but all that aside, I decided to just plan on it anyway and I can always get someone to fill in on my land bookings while I am gone.
I will keep everyone posted on what goes on!

10 years and going strong
Hello everyone!
I just finished reading some pretty interesting literature online about the negative connotations and the stigma that younger hypnotists get in this field. It was said that many younger hypnotists are not experienced, not qualified, and do not provide what they say they will provide. Whereas this may be the case for some, I want to set the record straight. Yes I am 22 years old, yes I do claim to have 10 years of experience, and yes I am serious when I say that. For me to have 10 years of experience, it means I had to start performing when I was 12 years old. That is also true, I was recognized by certified instructors of the National Guild of Hypnotists when I was 14 for being the world's youngest trained professional hypnotist. I had to take classes and hypnotize several people in order to graduate from the class, and not only that, but I had to also take a final examination. Out of 22 people in that class (all of whom was over 40 years of age) both myself and one other person were the only two people in the class to receive PERFECT SCORES on the examination.
Now, some may be wondering why I am writing this. My reasoning is this: Being young does have its advantages and disadvantages, BUT it does not make me inexperienced or naive about something that I take pride in and am passionate about. I have well over 1,800 shows under my belt and I believe that being younger helps me connect with my target audience much better.
I do not claim to know everything, in fact, I still have a lot that I want to learn. But I leave you with this wisdom... if you are passionate about something, then pursue it, as long as it is will not harm you or anyone else. Approach everything with good intention. When you work hard at something and succeed, you will have great feelings of self accomplishment and growth.
I did not mean for this post to be "all about me" but I did mean for it to act as a word of wisdom to those out there who may think that younger people have lack of knowledge or lack of experience. Now that I have graduated from college recently I have more time to dedicate to my performance career and also to doing things like updating my blogs regularly. So thank you to everyone who has believed in me and who supported me throughout all of my travels, trials, and tribulations!
