So a few weeks ago I performed in a high school theater for a fundraiser. The stage was very large and afterward I discovered that David Copperfield performed on that same stage about 12 years ago. This made me feel privileged that I got the opportunity to perform on the same stage as David Copperfield. However, the enjoyment did not end there.
Truthfully, I didn't think that show was the best, because for some reason I did not feel well before the performance and I think it threw me off a little. Although I thought it could have gone better, 13 people still got hypnotized, they went out like a light, and EVERYONE raved about it. They had also said that they had another hypnotist last year and they liked my show much better because I seemed to have more fun and interacted and connected with the crowd more. Usually, for every show I do I get about two or three calls from it...
So, the school made over $1000.00, they were happy, I was happy. The next day I got a phone call from one of the people who booked my show for the previous night. Not only did they book another show for next year already, but to my amazement, TEN other schools called me within the next two days just from hearing about the show that went on at this school. This goes to show, that even though you think some things may not go as planned, no one else will know except for you. I look forward to performing for those 10 other schools this year. With only about three months left in the school year, it is going to be a busy season.
